The Afrakan Independence Day Organizing Committee, Urban Shaman Productions & BMAAT Inc., are kicking off the rebirth of our annual Afrakan Independence Day/ Ma’at Celebration 2022. This will take place on Saturday, August 6th, 2022  from 12PM-8PM. We are celebrating and recognizing  Ma’at which is an ancient Egyptian concept highlighting the importance of truth, justice, balance, order, righteousness, and reciprocity in our communities and in our daily lives.
